When will I see my payment?
Economic Impact Payments have begun distribution for those who signed up for direct deposit. However, paper checks will not be sent out in batches beginning in May.

If you are looking to submit direct deposit information, the IRS just launched their "Get My Payment" portal
Am I eligible?
If you are a U.S. citizens or resident alien who:
- Has a valid Social Security number,
- Are not a dependent
- Have adjusted gross income under certain limits.
My portal says my status cannot be processed, but I am eligible. What does that mean?
Due to the high volume of traffic the IRS website is receiving, the website can have a hard time updating. If you see that for over three days, give my office a call at 202.225.1976.
What do I do if the IRS calls or texts me asking for personal information?
Be on the lookout for scams during this time. With many people receiving Economic Impact Payments, there is a high risk of scams. Be on the lookout for unsolicited communication claiming they can help you receive your payment faster.
